I read this book over a couple of days on holiday. Once I had started I couldn't put it down. The main theme of the story, Ruby-May's death was heart breaking and the pain felt by the parents and wider family was really well written. I liked the way the story was divided between Amy and Nick's point of view leaving you to guess a bit more about the other characters. The book really gets you thinking about how a family would be divided and place blame following such a tragic accident. There were quite a few twists and turns and a lot of different bits going on. The ending was realistic. I would have liked to have known a bit more about Luca and how he had come to be so close to the family. Overall a great read.
