Wow! Only read the first chapter so far but this has well and truly got my attention.
Having your 3 year old child die whilst on holiday is of course every parents worse nightmare but for some reason I LOVE upsetting myself with a sad book. Theres something really comforting about reading stories like this. Almost as though you're preparing yourself for the teeny tiny chance that you might find yourself in a similar horrific position.
Books like One Year Later really remind us how precious our lives are, how quickly everything can change and how important it is to snuggle our babies tightly every day and be so very grateful that we have them
I need to know what happens next! This one is definitely going on my to be read list!
