All I have to say of this book is that it was okay. I enjoyed it, I wanted to know what happened, kinda key in a thriller. It wasn’t anything special though. It just was okay.
It was interesting to have a male perspective as that’s uncommon in domestic thrillers, and also nick flowers is the softest man in the world. Give him some love.
There was a few things also that severely let me down, not to be picky. So nick flowers is all, fishing trip, with Matt, and I’m all, they had to huddle for warmth like, gavin and Stacey fishing trip gag situation and I didn’t get that rip. Additionally, nick being super uncomfortable with his body, could have been an interesting side plot in relation to his sisters and mother leaving him with his father, as well as the actual incident, perhaps some form of self harm, I just felt something was missing.
Overall though it was enjoyable.
