Well, I'm just gonna start off with that I do not usually read this genre because it does not particularly fit my taste. But I thought I would give it a try.

While the first few pages were quite intriguing I found myself skimming through the later ones. All that family drama is just not for me.

At first it seems that Amy should be the main protagonist but from the writing style you can tell that it is her brother Nick (his chapters are written in first person and Amy's in third).
It starts off with Amy reminiscing her daughters death and how it changed her family and everyone grew distant. In order to change that they go on a spontaneous island holiday to Italy. And then things fluctuate. It gets better it gets worse.

It might be a good read if you're on a holiday and don't want to flood your mind with thoughts. And if you're into this kind of stuff!
