I had rather high expectations for this book and it did not meet it.
I like the plot but i found it all a let down as it could have been a lot good.
It was about Amy's daughter Ruby-May who died in an accident one year ago which the family blames on Ruby-May's grandfather. For the anniversary they go on holiday to build the bond between them again.
I found it was not my style and halfway through the book it was just dragging on and did not have much drama that kept my attention.
I found the twist not too be that worth it and it switches to the past and then to now.
I did not find any characters good and no one got my attention.
Maybe those who like these genre will like it but it was not for me
