I love a book that when you finish it, you sit back and say to yourself "that was good I liked that" but this book One Year Later did not do that for me.
The story line was quite fast paced, and the characters believable. It is all hinged on family relationships and how easy they can get broken.
Its about the loss of a daughter who died in a terrible accident. One year later the family decide to go on holiday to an idyllic island in Italy, for them to heal and repair their relationships with each other. But as the anniversary of the little girls death looms, it starts to become clear that someone in the family is hiding a dark secret.
I must admit I did not guess the ending. The style of writing is quite good but it was not my taste.
