I began the story irritated with the main character. She seemed to be wallowing and winding the people around her up as much as she was me. She had however lost her daughter and that was making me warm to her.

Once she got on holiday, allsorts began to come out of the woodwork about her family. Unable to speak to anyone about her worries, and feeling like she was losing the plot, she struggled through the anniversary of her daughters death.

The storyline kept me interested, and the twists and turns along the way kept me hooked. I did make a few predictions along the way that turned out to be true, but all in all I didnt manage to work out the ending to the story. Would look out for more books by this author!
