I was quite surprised to see from the first look that this begins in 2018. With the two main character's names being Alf and Letty, I was expecting it to be much earlier, but it is modern in its approach with mentions of Instagram etc.
Alf and Letty are the only two English speaking pupils in a class in Rome and find they have dance as well as language in common.
