Kate worked for the police, she was a super recogniser but then she ran foul of some people whom she helped to get arrested and convicted who it was surmised were out for revenge.
One day Kate has a supposed car accident and loses her memory and her ability to retain information and abilities for her job.
Now she is looked after by a wonderful man called Rob who should be every woman's dream, kind, caring and even rich.
But then suddenly Kate sees Rob in a new light and realises her brain is not recognising this man as Rob, essentially it is but she knows it isn't.
Her ex Jake is worried and is scared for her safety and with good reason because things are worse than either of them thought.
From first page to last this was a twisting thrill ride and with such a dramatic ending this was an amazing read.
