If I could recommend anything it's not to read the blurb- go in blind to this one. All you need to know is its set in Rome and is a love story about two dancers. I think the blurb spoiled part of the story for me and really put me off reading more.
Regardless, the writing is really beautiful. Being that it's set in Italy a lot of the words spoken are Italian but instead of doing direct translations underneath sentences spoken in Italian, the author weaves it into sentences which I really enjoyed.
The set up for the story was really well done, descriptive of each individual character separately as well as having them interact occasionally to build a basic relationship. I like the direction of the story but I'm not sure enough to continue reading. Its rather slow and neither character really appealed to me personally enough to buy the book sadly.
