Oh wow this one was such a light, easy and enjoyable read. From the cover and description I just knew it was a book I would get lost in and escape our current strange lockdown situation!
It was so well written and descriptive I felt I was right there with Letty and Alf (rooting for them of course!) The characters, the setting, everything was well set out.
I quickly got invested in their lives and so I felt I just had to keep reading one more chapter after another as it was so emotional.
The story itself is about Letty and Alf who meet in Rome and are the only English speakers In a Italian class. It floats between each characters point of view which I liked.
Overall it was a very enjoyable, romantic read.
