This book begins like a classic romance of 'do they or don't they get' together but it turns into so much much.
With the majority of the story taking place in Italy and its beautiful geography, the writing really sets the scene of where they are. It is almost as if the background is part of Alf and Letty's story.
The characters are beautifully developed and their issues and tales slowly take shape in this well paced book.
The reader should not judge this book by it's description and cover as there are many different issues addressed in this book and the way they are dealt with is tactful and honest.
A lovely and addictive tale that will make you want to read on and discover the fate of these characters.
