This had all the ingredients for a great romance but for some reason this one just didn't work for me.
It was a bit of a slow burner and had lots of detail at the start that kind of weighed the story down a little and I started to lose interest.
I finished it but for me I didn't find it one of the most engaging romance novels I have read recently.
