If you enjoy a good romantic fiction novel with some twists and turns along the way then you will enjoy this book. The story is told through the eyes of Letty and Alf. It begins in Rome where they have both travelled separately but attend the same language school learning Italian for beginners. Soon a friendship developes between the two but they have both run away from their pasts and have to sort through that before they can move on. The story goes back to before they meant to a time when they were still in England and their reasons for leaving. When things don't go the way they hoped Alf returns to Blackpool and Letty to London but will their connection to Italy and their passion for dancing connect them once more.
