A really lovely and easy read.
It is a romantic story but it is not overly sentimental, and the story of the main two characters is very real. There is also a perfect twist that I didn’t see coming. The locations in Italy are really brought to life and you can imagine the settings so perfectly from Naples, to Rome to Venice, which obviously adds to the romance of the story.
The story is of Letty and Alf who both find themselves in Rome running from their pasts. They meet as the only two English speaking students in an Italian class and are drawn together until something happens forcing Letty to flee back to London and Alf to return to Blackpool. Will they find each other again or are they destined to be apart?
