The first few pages of this book didn't grab me immediately but, as the story expanded to include Kate and her running for parliament I became more interested and intrigued by it. There's clearly a lot of drama to come in the novel and I would like to know how this will expand and the initial death will tie into a Surrey MP's story.
I liked the jacket, it screams political thriller and having the well known author's name right at the top makes good sense.
