My heart is both broken and warmed after reading this beautiful story. Our Chemical Hearts really touched me, not just because of the love and friendship, but because it reminds us that it’s okay for things not to be perfect. It’s normal for things to be broken and not end up how we think they should. This book was definitely heartbreaking, but necessarily heartbreaking. I adored all the various references and quotes throughout the story, the amazing friendships and the fact that it didn’t need a happy ending to still be beautiful. Gorgeous writing and overall a beautiful tale! I highly, highly recommend giving this book a go. This absolutely gets a five star rating from me - just incredible!
