This romance book 'Our chemical hearts' reminds me a lot of the author Holly Bourne. Her writing technique/style is very similar and its hard to put down her books that's why I have read nearly all of them.
Our chemical hearts has a smooth flow to it and sounds natural; not too over the top and unrealistic but enough fantasy in it to tug at your heartstrings and fall in love with the book. It's impossible to put it down and I could probably read the whole thing in one sitting.
The writer has worded the story in such a way that makes you want to be a character in it. The book doesn't have long, boring paragraphs describing a single chair like some authors tend to do, but rather short although enough detail to give you a good image in your head about exactly what is happening in each scene. The creativity and emotion that is poured into this book makes it stand out from many others. It's a great read and I definitely recommend it.
