I recently watched the movie on amazon prime and immediately knew that I had to read the book, especially because the movie was good so the book is bound to be even better. I love the uniquely written and developed characters, how nothing is perfect, not people, life, relationships or first times. This book is real and it deals with real topics such as death and how it affects people and the things that they feel they have to do to cope with loss. The romance is far from perfect as the characters are dealing with a lot, and that’s life; it’s not perfect it’s sad and messy and you have to take things one day at a time sometimes even if you want to jump into something new to forget the past you have to also come to peace with it.
