I am a little confused with this book in terms of what age group it is aimed at. I am not sure if that is because the characters are young and therefore is the book better suited to someone in their late teens? I felt that because of the age of the characters, I found it hard to believe that Grace would be so "messy" and have a stick and that Henry would be so in love and intrigued by Grace. That said, the author does allow a level of intrigue to the reader, as you want to learn more about Grace as there is clearly a background there. The author did give the characters a good introduction to the book and really set the scene for allowing the intrigue of both characters to be explored and explained further.
Whilst that intrigue was set, I don't want to read any more and this book wasn't for me. I felt it was more meant for someone in their late teens.
