I’m going to give this three stars - I would say it’s average. First I don’t think this book is aimed at my age range and instead I would say younger readers.
I enjoyed reading it but if I’m honest I didn’t really like the characters or relate to them as I would have liked - probably due to the age gap. I did however finish it so it wasn’t that bad, hence the three star review. I’ve not read anything by this author before and I would probably give another example of her novels a go. All in all I would recommend but to ages 15-25 I would say purely so that the plot and characters are more relatable. The only thing I did like was the plot twist in the middle - I didn’t see it coming.
