This book was a real emotional roller coaster, which left me sobbing at the end.
The writing style in Our Chemical Hearts is amazing. It drew me in from the start, and left me wanting more until I finished it, which is why I couldn't stop reading until the very end. I was lucky to have the rest of the day off when I picked it up so I could read it in one sitting, because I really didn't want to leave this book behind.
I felt incredibly connected to the characters in the book. They're all incredibly three-dimensional and almost felt *real*, which is amazing.
I also really enjoyed how the author approached such difficult topics. She did it in an incredibly respectful way, and reading it was heartbreaking at times, but she still managed to not make the book too heavy by throwing in some jokes and Harry Potter references (which is the way to my heart, really).
Honestly, there's not one thing I didn't like about the book, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
