She is damaged inside and out. Over the course of a few months she begins to heal while Henry falls deeper down a hole. In true MPDG form Grace weaves a merry dance whilst never giving him the truth, until the end when heart break happens.
I love the friendship and family pictured here more than the ‘romance’ and would love to see more from the trio, maybe some early years of friendship snapshots. The writing is good but at times lacks the emotional connection to fully join Henry on his journey. Lola must have a deeper story we could follow next time, maybe?
