From reading the sample provided and watching the first twenty minutes of the book, I think the books plot seems different from other young adult novels and that I like how the protaganist and I have a passion for writing.
The writing is easy to understand and doesn’t have big words randomly in a sentence that doesn’t make sense. Comparing to other books in the same genre, the structre of the book seems much more easier to read.
The pages vary from each chapter, the first chapter could be six pages then next could be going on eleven pages which is kind of hard to keep up with but the plot is worth it.
In conclusion, from the sample I think it is suitable for teens 14+, there a couple curse words and things that might seem taboo like sex before marriage but overall I can not wait to read “Our Chemical Hearts” and watch the rest of the movie (when I get a copy of the book).
