I hadn't read any YA books in a while because I found that they were all a bit samey in terms of plot and characters - person a finds person b who is tragic and sad, falls in love with them and everything ends happily ever after. This is not the case with this book. The character Grace is more than just a love interest for Henry, with a complete backstory of her own. I really enjoyed getting to know her throughout the book and realising that Henry's infatuated description of her wasn't necessarily the truth.

A really enjoyable book - easy to read, typical of a YA in that sense, I read most of it in one sitting. But worth reading, especially for fans of John Green - elements of it reminded me of the fault in our stars.
