I thought this was going to be my new favourite book as the main character is disabled, which we have in common, although we do have different issues. This ended up being more a conversation on the pixie dream girl trope, which although I found interesting, I found it a very weird and not very enjoyable reading experience.
Something I really hate in YA: when the characters parents are only in the book when convenient to the plot. I thought it was weird that the parents of the character were just totally fine for the boy, aged around 17(? can't fully remember) is out all night without warning the parents. Is that normal? It definitely isn't where I live!
The ending did slightly save this book for me, which is why I gave it three stars, though I don't think I'd really recommend it unless you're looking for a dark romance.
