Our Chemical Hearts was beautifully written and captures the heartbreaking honest truths of first love.
It’s a young adult romance that is utterly and captivating, gripping you page after page until you finally finish...honestly as a very optimistic person I found it hard to believe that you could get book hangovers and be unable to read for a while, but after reading this I completely understand it now.
The premise is a wonderfully non cliche love story about a rather cynical teenage boy who falls in love with Grace Town, the girl who walks with a cane and wears oversized boys clothes (obviously an icon ) , but I guess the heart of it it’s a boy meet girl story.
If you get the chance I would definitely recommend!
