I really liked this book .The characters of Henry and Grace were intriguing . Henry falls in love with Grace at first sight . However she is not an easy person to get to know . She has her own reasons for holding everyone at arms length . She dresses in ill fitting boys clothing , which she seems to use as a shield to hide behind . Henry finds some old footage of her online . These show pictures of an entirely different kind of girl . Not standoffish or answering in monosyllables , but bright , happy , the life and soul of any group she was with . Whatever happened to change her and why does she now walk with a stick ?
As Henry gets to know Grace better he finds out about the tragic accident she was involved in and learns what it is to suffer loss and bereavement as well as love.
