So... lets start with the fact i thought this book was just ok. It follows the story of Grace Town and Henry Page. Grace dresses like a boy, smells like a boy and walks with a cane and is not your typical “girly girl” and she has a secret that she would rather not share. Henry inevitably falls in love with her and comes to realise her secret but in turn is not happy with how she is and why she acts the way she does. Without trying to give away the secret itself and the plot of the book.. the way the character was wrote and how he thought and what he wanted did not settle well for me. For what Grace was going through and for him to think the way he does is just horrible.
Instead of trying to change someone, maybe he should stop and think about himself.
This book was a really easy read and i finished it in a day but isn’t one i would rush back to read it again. Would say its a good book for travelling but not for a proper good read.
