i read this book a few years ago and it has always stuck with me. reading this book was an experience. going into it i never knew what to expect, i didn’t know what would happen. when i thought i figured out what was going on, something happened and my ideas were out the window. i really enjoyed most of the book: it was exciting and i was really hooked on the characters. however, it left me rather shocked and a little mad. i definitely think that people will love all of the plot twists and revelations about the characters, however some of those just were not my favourite and i did not enjoy them. perhaps reading it again now with the ability to understand the characters better and the decisions they make, i might have a different perspective and i may really enjoy the story. all of the characters themselves were really interesting and relatable. when i first came across the book it was the cover that interested me, i think the blue fish were so cool and i liked how they tied into the book
