I received this book as a joining reward and I am pleased I chose it.

A book written for young adults about first love, friendship and general teenage angst. As the book is set in America some of the references in the book were meaningless to me but that didn't really affect the overall story.
The characters were believable, complicated, honest and sufficiently humorous to make the story enjoyable and relatable. The story moved with pace and flow and at no point was it laboured which stories of teenage love often is.
Even though about young love the story really addresses the subject of love and all it's many forms from childhood, through adolescence and into adulthood. The conversation between the main male character and his sister on the subject of love was very poignant.
