This very much reminds me of the beginning of the pandemic, when things were serious, but not yet too serious, just before everybody went mad and toilet paper was nowhere to be found.
Here we have 8 friends (and friend adjacents) who have decided to isolate together in a country house - what could go wrong? I like the writing, it's fairly humorous and off the bat, each character has their own distinct voice. I like the concept, and it seems like a good book to cozy up with and read in one or two sittings.
Also the cover is brilliant!
