I'm not sure this would be for me
The cover of the book is simple yet clever. The use of bubbles are symbolic of the lockdown bubbles we have all had to endure during the pandemic.
Reading the synopsis of the story, the premise initially appealed to me.
However upon reading the first look I'm not sure that I would actually enjoy it. I found the wording quite strange. Although it was set in modern times the prose reminded me of that of older novels. This is the kind of book I would perhaps borrow from the library rather than purchase.
