Right off the bat there is a fierce sense of setting. You get a clear picture of who lives where and what the setting looks like. The author did such a great job with describing a character so much so that I don't like the character Alex a.k.a. (Sasha) because he thinks, ""Of course, someone else was coming, too. Someone who was not a friend. Someone who made Senderovsky, already a drinker, drink more."" He gives off a lame excuse of being an even more of an alcoholic whenever someone who wasn't a friend was coming. The fact the he gives his power away to be controlled that way, gives me an ick. Also the fact that he knows how to drive for three years all-ready, but is such a crazy driver that his wife doesn't even let him take their child with him...because he drives so badly... Sounds like weaponized incompetence. Sasha can literally slow down and not drive that quickly, it's quite literally a no-brainer. The cover looks so cute. I love it. Though, maybe there could have been a bit more pop of color or a darker blue tint.
