From the blurb, I expected to enjoy this book. I haven’t read any books set during the pandemic yet but thought this looked interesting.
However, it feels like the story just starts all of a sudden without proper introduction of the setting or characters.
So far, I haven’t warmed to any of the characters and they seem superficial.
Something about the writing style felt clunky and it didn’t flow.
Not a book for me after all.
I quite like the cover and the pretty blue is eye catching.
