It was the cover that firstly drew in. It's clean, modern, and has a massive house on the front.

The premise of this book doesn't feel like it is going to draw me in. I've lived through 2 years-ish of a pandemic, and I don't feel like this is something I want to read about. Especially since reading is my getaway from the everyday.

However, the characters seem likeable and relatable. I am also interested in reading books not set in the US / UK so this definitely tickled my fancy.

Yes, I would pick this up, but I'm not sure reading a pandemic-esque book right now is my thing.
