The premise of this books looks really interesting and we are introduced quite quickly to a few of the characters. The main character is certainly quirky and I really enjoyed the descriptions of him and his family. The author has a humorous style and I found myself smiling a lot while reading this, but the type of humour may not be for everyone. Overall I found I was intrigued by the plot and where it would go so it could be one I pick up in the future.
