This book is one of those books that you can tell you're probably not going to connect to the characters well. The voice is so distant, I feel like I'm listening in to a conversation rather than immersing myself into the book, trying to imagine I'm there. I thought it sounded interesting from reading the blurb but the writing style and voice just isnt for me.
