Character driven
This book is very character driven, so if that's what you look for in a book I would really recommend this one.
It was interesting getting to know the characters and their previous, as well as the developing relationships.
Although this is a slow burner book and not much happens in terms of the plot, it's a really interesting and enjoyable read.
I liked that although it's based on a Covid lockdown situation, it wasnt heavily focused on Covid considering we all read and hear about it every day. Instead it focuses on acquaintances coming together and trying to find a new 'normal' way to live.
Nats character adds a lot of quirkiness to the group, and Mashas mothering tendencies make it feel very hospitable.
Overall, I'm happy that I had the opportunity to read this book, despite character driven novels not normally being my preference..
