There is a clear theme to this piece, and the tone is evident from the beginning: a dark, mysterious, novel, laced with crimson. The cover, I believe, portrays it as being almost infantile: something a teenager may read. But I assure you of its broad vocabulary and complex writing structures. Personally, this book is not entirely to my taste, as there are many central characters that may become easily confused ( which may not be the case as they are doubtless very vivid interlocutors). My fear for the book is that it would be dry; that the writing would slowly lack more and more poetecism and vibrancy. I'm sure there are people that would ADORE the novel, but i wouldnt find myself buying the full book. My reasons being: 1, its writing style is modern, 2, the cover doesnt correlate with the story , and 3, some of the characters come off as slightly obnoxious.
