I really wanted to love this book, I loved the sound of it and had high expectations but for me it just wasn't something that I could get into.
Set around a group in isolation together there is lots going on between the characters, I feel like maybe there was just a bit too much to think about, I wasn't able to relax into the story and just go with it.
Of course these characters are only thrown together due to the pandemic and are all very different, perhaps that is why I found it hard to relate to their group dynamics.
I found it slow to get into and where I would usually sit and read a book till I am forced away, with this I felt like I was forcing myself to carry on.
I think perhaps this is just not the style of book for me, it is one of those which you will either really enjoy or be unable to get into. So while I wouldn't recommend it, I am sure there are others who would enjoy it.
