I think the overall story is far too relatable to our current situation in the the world. I think everyone will agree that they do not want to read about what i feel is already happening around me. It was totally pandemic focused

The main character invites friends to his complex with most of the guests being immigrants.. I understand that this has probably not been written to cause dismay, quite the opposite actually, to bring up light moments and raise hope around everybody in their time of need but as somebody that has lost multiple people close to them during this pandemic,

This book wasn't for me, it was a sad read, that linked to anxiety stemmed from lockdown but also linked a character to their illness..

I really struggled to get through the book, the start of the book dragged and was boring, it's not something I will re-read or recommend to anyone I know.
