I can't quite decided how I feel about this book but that could be because I'm not quite prepared to read Covid related literature yet.
Firstly I found this book quite hard to get into and it took me a couple of attempts as it is quite slow-paced. The characters could have been developed more as I found they were predictable and rather shallow. It was hard to find a single likable quality within the characters which I think is one of the reasons I didnt really enjoy this book.
Lots of other reviews of this book suggested it was quite a funny read however I personally didn't see this. There were moments of quite dark humour but maybe other parts went over my head. I'm wondering if maybe this book was written for a more American audience???
