It's March 2020, and a disaster is brewing. To wait out the epidemic, a group of pals and friends-of-friends assemble in a country property. New friendships and romances will blossom over the next six months, while old betrayals will resurface, pushing each character to reconsider who they love and what matters most.

I'm disappointed that I didn't appreciate this book as much as I anticipated. Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't connect with the plot or the characters. I'll try again and reread this later in the year, but I'm not sure what went wrong. I've heard excellent things about this author and plan to read more of their work, but I'm not sure I'm interested in this one. Maybe when you read it, you'll think differently, but this one wasn't for me. I recommend that you read this book for yourself to determine whether it is your type of book, however, this is my view on the book.
