I was excited to receive this book as a freebie from Readers first. Unfortunately I really struggled to understand the characters and become involved with their lives. They appeared shallow and underdeveloped, and I didn't like a single one of them. I continued to read hoping that the story would suddenly start to improve, but no such luck.

I feel that an opportunity has been missed by the author to explore the ways in which this story and the characters could be brought to life, the pandemic and lockdown offered so much more without just turning to sex, drugs, and betrayal of friendships. The only real question was which character/characters was going to die, because it became increasingly clear that someone would whether through COVID, other natural causes, or through murder. I was actually hoping that one of them would murder one of themselves 🤣 just to liven the book up a bit.

I continued to the end, but consider the whole thing a waste of time.
