I really enjoyed this first look. My first impression tells me that it’s a contemporary, relatable and heart-warming book.
I think the scene setting gets London just right, with it’s morning rush, and the feeling that there are too many people there to possibly see ‘that person’ again!
The characters have distinctive voices and I really like the way they’re written. I already like the secondary characters too - they give the story more depth and humour.
I think the idea itself of meeting someone that way is really sweet. I loved that it wasn’t just her seeing the advert, but a friend sending it to her, which almost seems less likely and more probable at the same time. Which is even more romantic!
I want to see what happens to these characters and how their relationship progresses.
