From first impressions just looking at the front cover I believe that this novel is going to be a romance. With the two hands holding the coffee cup with the love heart and also the question included on the front of the book "What if you almost missed the love of your life?" which could give the reader an idea that the book may be about two people that will come together in perhaps a spare of the moment. Which entices the reader to want to read the book and find out.
After reading the small extract, I definitely would want to read on further. I enjoy the fact that the story is set out in the views of two people. Who we assume are going to be the main characters. I also enjoyed the use of the modern language for an example the use of Instagram and Netflix which is relatable to many people today. We can tell that there will be humour involved as Nadia & Daniel are quite similar in the fact that they are both quite socially awkward and looking for love. Also purely for the fact that Daniel has wrote an ad about Nadia asking her on a date just by travelling to work on the tube.
I would definitely want to read on and see what happens and whether Nadia somehow responds to the Ad. I think this could be a romantic novel with also a bit of comedy which are my favourite types of books to read.
