I received this as a surprise gift from someone and after reading the blurb knew I’d love it.
I wasn’t wrong, set in London it follows the stories of two commuters who catch the same train into work every day - you can already see where the stories going can’t you!
What I loved about this book was that even though you can see how close the two main characters are, you don’t go straight to your destination.
There are twists and diversions along the journey of this book that I found frustrating at times - but only because you were reading both sides of the story. I found that I was really able to connect with both characters and you really urge them to reach the conclusion that you want. Even though it doesn’t seem like that could ever happen at some points I was still hopeful throughout the whole book.
