Our Stop by Laura Jane Williams is told alternately from the points of view of the main characters Nadia and Daniel.
The characters are so relatable- like comical caricatures of our most self-conscious selves. They often had the most cringe-worthy moments of humiliating embarrassment that I felt so sorry for them and that only made me like them even more.
There are plenty of humorous scenes and many laugh out loud moments.
This the first time that I have encountered any novels by Laura Jane Williams but it will most definitely not be my last.
I will admit that I was a little dubious before I started to read this as it is not my usual genre at all but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I found it a light-hearted book and would make a great holiday read/ Recommended!!
