After seeing Laura Jane Williams live at a book event this year and deciding she was absolutely hilarious, I rushed out to buy her fictional debut ‘Our Stop’.
In this novel, Daniel spots Nadia at Borough Market and again on his commute. Determined to meet her, he places an advert in the dating section of the paper he know she reads every morning. And so begins a series of near-misses.
This novel took me back to being 29, living alone in London and being on the dating scene. There is actually a line in this book about a certain online dating site that I actually used to quote! I could really relate to it!
Both characters are gorgeous and this was an utterly fun, warm and uplifting read!
Clearly I have immediately gone to pre-order The Love Square, Laura’s follow-up book, this had to be done!
